AI Copilot

The AI Copilot is a conversational assistant built into AtlasAI that helps operators investigate incidents, query data, and perform actions using natural language. It has full context of your infrastructure, incidents, and operational history.

Key Features

  • Natural language queries — Ask questions like “What caused the spike in API latency at 3 PM?” or “Show me all P1 incidents this week”
  • Context-aware — The Copilot knows your services, topology, recent incidents, and current alerts
  • Action execution — Perform operations through conversation: “Restart the payment service on prod-api-03”
  • Investigation mode — Walk through an incident step by step with the Copilot guiding the analysis
  • Knowledge retrieval — Search past incidents, runbooks, and documentation via RAG
  • Multi-modal input — Paste log snippets, error messages, or screenshots for the Copilot to analyze
  • Suggested follow-ups — After each response, the Copilot suggests logical next questions or actions
  • Audit trail — Every Copilot-executed action is logged with the conversation context

How to Access

Click the Copilot icon (chat bubble) in the bottom-right corner of any page, or navigate to Copilot in the left sidebar for the full-screen view.

Basic Usage

  1. Open the Copilot from the sidebar or the floating icon
  2. Type a question or command in natural language
  3. The Copilot responds with data, analysis, or action proposals
  4. For actions that modify your environment, the Copilot asks for confirmation before executing
  5. Use follow-up questions to drill deeper into the analysis
  6. Click Save Conversation to preserve the investigation context for team reference
